The fact is, the athletes need to be able to turn pro, sign contracts and get paid as soon as they are able. They should not HAVE to play for a college or wait x number of years before they are “eligible” for the draft. Do tennis players have to wait? No. Golfers? No. Baseball players. No...

Pro leagues take over the monied sports. Turn the college teams into minor leagues and training grounds for the pro teams. Small colleges become single A club teams (like single A minor league baseball teams, owned, managed and regulated by the NBA, NFL, etc). Mid-major teams become AA clubs...

PG, SG, 2guard, small forward… etc. whatever… I think in today’s game (and probably HD’s system) you want 2 or 3 of those dawgs on the floor who have a handle to break a press with their dribble, break down defenders and penetrate with the dribble and who can make the smart passes more often...
