I also used to take Benadryl and am glad to have gotten off of it. Trazadone is nothing like Ambien and is safe and not habit forming. It’s actually a repurposed (failed) antidepressant. My wife and her sister (physician) both also take it. I make a point to not take it one day/week and I sleep...

I’ve had difficulty sleeping for years. My Doc recommended Trazadone and it helps me sleep much better. Have you tried it?
