I count this as more Sci-Fi than horror but I did want to mention Alien Romulus. I saw this last week and enjoyed it. The storyline and some of the acting can be nitpicked in several ways but I really liked the production design and specifically the fact that it appeared to be mostly practical...

I'm going to watch this one soon. Hopefully tomorrow night--going to Violent Femmes concert tonight :-) The trailer looks creepy as heck and some podcasters that I like seem to have enjoyed it.
