I was a registered Dem for most of my life and went independent with the rise of the far left. Still haven’t voted for a pub, but find myself identifying with the very few moderate Rs left out there. Not enough to vote for one given that they would empower the radical right majority, but still.

I’ll pass on that. 400 years is about 16 generations, basically the length of time since the founding of the first colony in America to now. There is about a zero percent chance the crew doesn’t go insane and accidentally or intentionally destroy that ship.

It wouldn't surprise me if Trump doesn't endorse anyone, or holds off until someone has the nomination locked up already. Not because he wants to be impartial, but because he doesn't want to associate himself with someone that may lose. I definitely think Trump will tank some folks though.

Probably some crazy southern governor. I don't think Vance has national appeal and the fact that he comes off as a boot licking sycophant won't help him with the folks that want a 'real man' to run. I think a lot of pubs in congress will succumb to this problem as well.
