This is just plain wrong, Jimmies and Joes have been much less of a problem for HD than Xs & Os, among other things. I would guarantee you that by pretty much any metric that evaluates player talent, we've had one of the 20 most talented rosters in CBB each year over HD's 4 years in Chapel...

My first thought is that he was on a plan that didn't really cover very much but was terribly cheap and a lot of the provisions that allowed the plan to be so inexpensive were made illegal by the ACA. Of course, that's just a guess, but it would be interesting to compare his before and after...

I'm not interested in a long discussion on this, but race is about far, far more than appearance. In fact, basic appearance may be the least interesting and certainly the least controversial part of race.

That's silly, unless the point is something about race of the person using the term. We can't make the criterion "folks who say something I disagree with" because that essentially opens the door for all physical-based mockery.

Yeah, there are a few times where I think physical traits are within the bounds of discussion and the "Mar-a-Lago look" would be one of those times. While not an exhaustive list (by any stretch of the imagination), I'd say 2 major criteria for making physical appearance an "acceptable"...

Then go after them for spewing unconscionable vitriol and hate and leave their looks out of it. While I think there are limited situations where physical appearance is fair game, in general, it shouldn't be. Go after folks for their beliefs, not the way they look. Easy, peasy, lemon squeezy.

But what if I'm rapping along with Jay-Z or OutKast? Can I say it then?

There's no difference between this and when Republicans point out the supposed unattractiveness of feminists/liberal women and create a political point out of their looks. We should be better than this.

Let's not go there. How is this any different than when Trump makes fun of folks' physical appearance?
