Wemby, Castle, Harper…what’s the league going to do with that for the next decade?
I posted before about how lucky Sam Antonio has been with landing no. 1 overall draft picks on years when their were clear cut no. 1 overall picks with a drop off after that, but failed to mention how lucky they were to get the no. 2 pick last year when they already had Wemby.

Chet definitely looked out of it. He was missing passes, couldn’t get his hands on rebounds and didn’t look for a shot at all. Wemby want even on him for most of the game.

I was only able to watch one of the SA/OKC games because of the stupid streaming platforms.

Now I am looking at YTTV for the finals, I'm not sure it's worth $80 for a month just to watch the NBA finals.

I want to watch the games, but I'm sick of how streaming seems to be worse than cable was.

At least I can pay for one month then cancel, since there's basically nothing else I want to watch on YTTV.

Anyway, go Spurs, Go HB.

On another note, I realize that with everything going on in life, work, and the world, I'm very fortunate to be in a position where this is a noticeable concern. I feel sort of stupid considering there are people in the world worrying about eating or their life necessary medical supplies and I'm bitching about $80 to watch sports.

Someone needs to do a welfare check on Chet Holmgren. Dude has looked physically ill ever since Vassell stole his lunch in Game 6.

You need YTTV to get ABC?

Chet has rubbed me the wrong way since he was at Gonzaga. He just comes across as incredibly pompous.

I didn't watch the whole game last night, but his lack of presence is a major storyline. He's going to have to work hard to overcome it in the future.

Speaking of NBA Championships:
This is old, (2018) and I'm sure d00k may have somebody who has made it to the top of the basketball mountain other than Danny Ferry and Jeff Mullins (pre-K... pun intended), but here ya go. Just putting this out there for those still wringing their hands about K and Cryer getting all that "NBA talent" to play their one semester of college in Derm at Trinity College. And I quote:

"For the University of North Carolina, winning doesn't stop at the college level.
In the last 35 years, only 12 NBA championships have been won by teams that didn't have a former Tar Heel on the squad. UNC also produced eight players who are in the 2012 NBA Playoffs—two are still alive in the second round.
That's pretty impressive.
Through the entire history of the NBA, a total of 29 titles have been won by 14 former Tar Heels. According to Fox Sports Florida, that is the most by any college—above UCLA (26), Ohio State (25), San Francisco (25), Minnesota (18) and Kentucky (17).
Where is Duke on that list?
Despite Mike Krzyzewski producing the second-most NBA players in league history, former Duke players have only won two NBA championships—Danny Ferry in 2003 and Jeff Mullins in 1975 (before Coach K). That is every bit as shocking to me as the astounding number Carolina has won.
Even more impressive is that UNC products continue to produce NBA championships beyond their playing years. Including general managers and coaches, UNC has produced a total of 42 titles."

Article is wrong. Kyrie won one in 2016 with the Cavs. Dohntay Jones was on that roster as well but didn't play much.

Battier, won two with the Heat.

Not sure when in 2018 that article was written but Quin Cook was on the roster for Golden State when they won in 2018.
