altoheel is not wrong that Norse mythology has a place in neo-nazism. I mean, it had a place in Nazism, and proto-Nazism. Wagner loved Norse mythology. There are no Nazis in Valhalla
There's a whole musical subgenre called "national socialist black metal." The lyrical content of black metal has, since the beginning basically, been heavily focused on Norse mythology, Viking traditions, etc. One of the members of the pioneering black metal band Darkthrone called himself Fenrir, IIRC. So NS black metal more or less automatically fuses the traditions, though it's not clear they were ever unfused.
The problem is that Viking mythology is by no means limited to neo-Nazis. I watch very few superhero movies, but wasn't there a big Marvel smash hit (or two, or three) based on Norse mythology?
