I’m guessing there will be no victory speech.

Woketard lawyer can’t tell apart a beef rib from a turkey legLooks like a huge Texas beef rib to me. Why would his campaign pretend he’s eating a turkey leg in Texas campaign? If so, that would be malpractice.
In any event, my larger point remains true.
I've had a lot of interviews with national media. No one's ever asked me about the cost of housing. No one's asked me about the cost of prescription drugs. The only thing the media wants to ask me about are trans athletes. The only minority destroying this country is the billionaires. Trans people are 1% of the population. Undocumented people are 1% of the population. We are all focused on the wrong 1%. Trans people aren't taking away our healthcare. Undocumented people aren't defunding our schools. It's the billionaires and their puppet politicians
What to watch (taking into account that CA takes weeks to count votes)
CA Governor (jungle)
Iowa Governor (R)
[“… Republicans, on the other hand, are somewhat divided between two candidates: Representative Randy Feenstra, who recently was backed by Trump in the closing days of the campaign, and populist farmer Zach Lahn, backed by the conservative Turning Point Action organization founded by Charlie Kirk.…”]
South Dakota Governor (R)
Iowa Senate (D)
[Turek (moderate) v Wahls (progressive)]
CA-11 [Pelosi’s district - jungle - Chakrabarti (progressive), Chan (Pelosi endorsed) & Weiner (CA Dem party)]
NJ-12 [Bernie/AIC candidate Hamawy v. Dem party candidate Altman]
LA Mayor (jungle) - Bass (D incumbent), Raman (progressive), Pratt (MAGAish GOP)
Totally agree. If Texas can only get its head out of its ass, it has a chance to do something good here. Sadly, it won’t.He is so impressive. I would think the same even if he was on the other side of the aisle.
Didn't he die in like Season 5 of the Blacklist?
The Religious Right is especially powerful in Texas (lots of televangelists, Joel Osteen, diehard Trumper Robert Jeffress of Dallas First Baptist) and they seem to regard Talarico as a mortal threat who must be decisively defeated and discredited. As a dynamic, articulate, and passionate advocate for Progressive Christianity he is their worst nightmare. If he gets elected to the Senate he might be able to show people in places like Texas that the "Old-Time Religion" is not the only version of Christianity in this country and that there are legitimate alternatives and suddenly guys like Jeffress might have real competition. So he must be destroyed, and they'll do whatever it takes to beat him.Totally agree. If Texas can only get its head out of its ass, it has a chance to do something good here. Sadly, it won’t.
