Who is up for the diversion of a scary-fun essay about A I eliminating us. It's a bit like the science fiction novel of a few years ago, Robopocalypse, which started really well, and sadly got quite silly in the middle and ending.
My position is that I am not afraid of these conceptions of AGI or AI, and feel they project the worst about humanity onto these things. The enemy is in the mirror, not behind the keyboards and mainframes.
