I don’t think this is big enough - yet. It’s possible the CA-NG injection is the necessary acceleration. However, I mentioned yesterday, LA is a physically unwieldy built environment to trial a larger scale, militarized lockdown. That lockdown is coming; I’m as confident in it as I am tariffs cause inflation. That said, I expect this is more a trial balloon and not a dress rehearsal. Cities such as Boston (heart of American elite academia and physically small), Portland (they’ve already tried), SF/Oakland (pretty unwieldy, but arguably the symbolic heart of liberalism) are the locales I have my eyes on, along with possibly Detroit, as it offers dog whistle and sabering rattling opportunities.Trump orders National Guard to L.A. after immigration raids trigger protests

Don’t be dumb CF that was white people…But he was okay with not ordering the National Guard in to DC on Jan 6.
Me too. Trouble I keep running into is over-weighting the fact my trump 1.0 predictions were far more dour than my milieu, and I still under-shot.I really hope you're wrong.
