British Columbia ends daylight saving swap

Trump finally has a positive impact on Canada, maybe that will persuade some hands here too.

The province will shift the clock forward this Sunday but won't swap back next Nov, adopting a permanent time.

Legal frameworks for this have been in place since 2019 but the gov didn't act on it in order to coordinate with neighboring US states. They said "Recent actions from the U.S. have shifted how B.C. approaches decisions that merit alignment,".

Since I've mostly farmed or did construction, can see to can't see was the real time anyway. The other stuff was just a way to arrange meetings.
