Because the majority of Pubs are. That is the party those people vite for and the party that caters to them.

To a degree I agree that Rs may have "started" it, so to speak, but the playing field has gotten much closer to level since Trump came into the scene.

pretty hilarious that all you can come up with here is a single ad produced by a tiny, fringe left wing group nearly 20 years ago and unhinged kathy griffin.

That is far from all I can come up with. That was to show a) how far back this started and b) how it's continuing and escalating.

Griffin is FAR from the only unhinged Democrat. Watch any of the liberal news channels or The View or any number of liberal late night talk show hosts. They all add fuel to the fire from the left.

And I say all that while absolutely acknowledging that the leader of the Republican Party, Donald "Benito Cheeto" Trump is the biggest contributor to the rhetoric and violence on the right. J6 doesn't happen without his lies.
 
I hate that this happened that he did not survive because of the loss his family will suffer and because of the overall negativity it will continue to spread in this country.
