That's what the other bowl games are now. Really silly to even have them anymore.

That would be more exciting than some of the bowls we will be watching
It’s all about TV money. That's what the other bowl games are now. Really silly to even have them anymore.
Genuinely think this would be an abysmal hire. This might just happen ...
Bill Belichick weighing offer to become UNC coach, but hurdles remain: Sources
While a deal may still come together quickly, sources cautioned that nothing is imminent and the sides remain apart on multiple key terms.www.nytimes.com
I will be extremely skeptical as well, but at this point UNC has backed itself into a corner and basically has to make it work.Genuinely think this would be an abysmal hire.
I tend to agree but at this point, what’s the harm? This program is and has been in purgatory.Genuinely think this would be an abysmal hire.
I haven’t followed the process well enough to know the other options, if any. If I were a UNC fan, I’d genuinely prefer the likes of Jeff Monken, Ryan Silverfield, or the IU OC, Mike Shanahan. Again, don’t know how realistic those were/are.I tend to agree but at this point, what’s the harm? This program is and has been in purgatory.
Could it be worse than BB on the sidelines?
Give it a shot. He’d come with a high level NFL staff.I tend to agree but at this point, what’s the harm? This program is and has been in purgatory.

If BB falls thru, hire Jeff Saturday as the GM - for fundraising, and "recruiting" (which is really just offering NIL amounts these days). Then find the best X&O staff you can find without worrying about his personality or experience with running a full program. There are ton of college OC/DC who are masterful schemers who also know how to approach and prep college students for a whole season. A Kane Wommack would probably be fine, but you could probably go even cheaper and get good on-field, gameday planners and teachers.I will be extremely skeptical as well, but at this point UNC has backed itself into a corner and basically has to make it work.
Reading between the lines, they put all their eggs in the Belichick basket and didn’t make a serious push at some of the other more “traditional” candidates like Jon Sumrall. Now the window feels like it’s shut for those type of hires, and if they miss on Belichick they’re looking at Steve Wilks or maybe Freddie Kitchens. If it’s Belichick or those two as the options, I would much, much prefer to at least give it a swing with Belichick’s plan. If it’s gotten this far and falls through, the blowback from our fans is going to be a sight to behold lol.
I preferred Sumrall or one of the up and coming coordinators like Kane Wommack or Glenn Schumann. I’m not someone that’s going to proclaim that UNC is a sleeping giant that could have its pick of the litter of coaches, but this was a unique coaching cycle where we were arguably the best position open. I think at least a few of those names would have jumped at the job if UNC had seriously pursued them.I haven’t followed the process well enough to know the other options, if any. That's certainly a valid opinion. I'm on the fence myself, but most any hire we could have made beyond Matt Campbell, who I don't think was interested, are crap shoots on some level. As long as we don't hire someone obviously unqualified (ie Bunting), then I'll support whoever it is.I preferred Sumrall or one of the up and coming coordinators like Kane Wommack or Glenn Schumann. They need to have contracts like the pros if they are getting money. The jumping from tram to team every year is ridiculous. I don't mind them getting NIL money but there needs to be some guardrails for the schools. We will likely have 1 QB on the roster for the Gator Bowl.
I dont care they are leaving, but the transfer portal and NIL have turned this into a damn zoo
Unless they become employees and there can be collective bargaining I don’t think it can’t happen, legally. They need to have contracts like the pros if they are getting money. Weird
The $60 one is reasonable. No way I would pay the other amounts for one ticket. I realize it's probably cheap in comparison to other sporting events, but it's still too much to me.Those are cheap??
