Maybe. Even though it’s a body run by a party with terminal main character syndrome, with ttump in office he’ll likely be able to threaten the house into compliance. The grifting, grievance, and gullibility that dominates the GQP house knows one truth, ttump butters their bread, and to push against him is self-immolation.

Presumably, IRS funding will be targeted, but will be interesting to see how the House navigates the razor thin majority. Everyone seems to have a pet project they want to keep funding. The low-hanging fruit approach would mean cutting taxes and increasing ICE and military funding without much spending reduction.
