Apologies if this is being covered elsewhere. If so, I missed it on a search. Anyway, this feels like a stand alone thread. I've been following this since yesterday and what Mr. Booker is doing should be applauded.

I can see Corey Booker being good in the opposition.
In the same way I see Chuck Schumer being much better as the Majority Leader than as the Minority Leader.
Booker is likely better as an impassioned outsider than he is as an insider (not sure if Booker has the skills to be an “insider” leader).
Schumer is an insider. He likely lacks McConnell’s overall skills within the Senate; but, Schumer is better suited to being a majority leader than an aggressive minority leader.

Booker always struck me as Obama-lite. But, the now-senior senator from New Jersey does have his moments.

Obama has “it.” Obama exudes “it.” I haven’t a clue what “it” is. But, Obama has it.
There’s Presidential “it.” Obama had and has that in spades. Bill Clinton had “it.” He lost it. Might have been age or Hillary. Hillary never came close to having “it.” Ditto for Al Gore, John Kerry, Joe Biden……Unfortunately for us, in the mind of MAGAts, Trump has “it.” Reagan had “it” for the MAGAts.
