Had one open in town not long ago. Thought I would try it out. Then I saw it's $13 for just two tenders and fries. That doesn't include a drink. Nope, that's ridiculous.
 
Lots of restaurants have priced me out these days, especially for lunch. I ain't spending over $10 on lunch unless it's lunch with a friend or something. But apparently people do. Ate Bo today for $6.65. Often eat McDonalds and get out for $5 ordering in the app. I'm not very healthy.

Other than the big chain fast food restaurants, which I don’t eat at unless I’m on the road, I find it impossible to find a restaurant lunch for less than $10 these days. In fact, It’s extremely difficult to find a restaurant lunch for less than $15 these days.

I mean you're right, especially if a tip is involved. It's pretty much impossible. I was willing to drop $12 pretty much every day but when it went over that I was like it's just too much, it adds up. So now I'm on a rotation of Bo, McDonalds, Zaxby's. I'm fat but I can split Chipotle bowls with my wife for a pretty good value. I have no idea who eats a whole one of those things. And I prolly eat leftovers or make a sandwich at home 3 days a week. And I faithfully take 80mg Pravastatin daily. I will drop some money at dinner with the fam one or two nights a week, but I hate spending a lot at lunch.
 
I recently saw that they're expecting Dave's Hot Chicken to have tremendous expansion this year. We had one open in Wilmington a few years ago. Has anyone ever tried it? I do enjoy Nashville hot chicken, but I've yet to try theirs.
