Just watched. Very good. Did not realize Herb Brooks was so tough, etc. Remember it unfolding and the wave of patriotism across the country. We could use a common enemy

Enjoyed it very much. The Miracle movie was pretty clear in how much of a hardass Herb was, but also pretty clear that is what made the difference in the end.

Those boys do not win on talent alone.

And had to laugh at the "common enemy" comment-- very clearly the Soviets (then and now) is true, but also was true that Herb made himself the common enemy to his players as well.
 
I don't remember why
But I watched that at 4 corners alone-drinking beer (the game not the documentary )
Only time I ever went there to "drink"
As I recall i thought it was live

As I recall, the game wasn’t live. Only closed circuit was live. They had it live at the UNC Student Union second floor and I caught the last few minutes.
