No idea about China, but those are of only marginal importance anyway. I'm not at all convinced Chinese tariffs are actually collected.

They never went into effect and we have 30 days to negotiate an even better deal(s). We can disagree who got the better "deal" but the point is the tariffs were just the club.

No he wasn't using them as leverage. He was planning on putting them in. He only changed course when he saw the market reaction, and saw that he was being dragged by the WSJ and Fox News. He stepped on his dick and Bessent must have gotten in his ear.
