Props for what?I can't decide if this is "peace through strength" or "diplomacy through idiocy" but I guess I'll give props for now even though I know it's basically been bullshit political theater all along. I think Trump is an unimaginable moron but I like and cheer for our country and it's success far more than I hate Donald Trump, so whatever keeps the train on the tracks, I reckon.
Trump got totally played. I think that’s worth celebrating.Props for what?
What has been accomplished?
Hey, I said we'e grading on a curve! He didn't cause the Second Great Depression yet!Props for what?

Absolutely 100%Trump got totally played. I think that’s worth celebrating.
I think you can find most of it on X.We might as well just give Putin his own UserID and password to our most top secret security systems.
Nailed itI'll happily accept the egg on my face if I'm wrong, but I'll be shocked if the Canadian tariffs aren't canceled by no later than 4:00pm ET.
No idea about China, but those are of only marginal importance anyway. I'm not at all convinced Chinese tariffs are actually collected.
They both basically promised to keep doing what they had been doing.Several of us said that we don't like tariffs but Trump was simply using them as leverage in negotiations. Well, that's exactly what happened. They never went into effect and we have 30 days to negotiate an even better deal(s). We can disagree who got the better "deal" but the point is the tariffs were just the club.
Yeah, it's probably frustrating being an ally/neighbor of Trump's USA but we'll get their assist for securing both borders. See, you don't need a big "border deal" to secure the border. You can secure it simply using your Executive powers and foreign policy diplomacy.
Whose prison? And when? ttump isn't going to give up the presidency, nor will the techbroligarchy. ttump isn't putting the richest man on the planet in prison. He should be scared himself. No matter what he achieves here, this isn't ending well for him. I suspect he will be at minimum spending a time in prison.
He got nothing for all that.Several of us said that we don't like tariffs but Trump was simply using them as leverage in negotiations. Well, that's exactly what happened. No he wasn't using them as leverage. He was planning on putting them in. He only changed course when he saw the market reaction, and saw that he was being dragged by the WSJ and Fox News. He stepped on his dick and Bessent must have gotten in his ear.Several of us said that we don't like tariffs but Trump was simply using them as leverage in negotiations.
