On Friday, however, the DOJ filed a motion to block that effort in the Southern District of New York, arguing that courts lack the authority to force the agency’s hand in the matter.

I’ve never seen a group of people go to such lengths to protect sexual predators. https://t.co/AtAXWt4YHK — Shawn Ryan (@ShawnRyan762) January 17, 2026

Well, one sexual predator in particular.

Nothing incriminating to Trump is ever getting released. The sooner people realize that, the sooner we can work on obtaining content from other global sources, which I'm told are out there.

Well, at least we know now why there was no push-back from the Pubs on the Epstein Files Transparency Act. Or maybe they are so transparent, its like they don't really exist. By the time this administration finally releases the materials, if ever, they will only reference Democrats and other "enemies of the people."

I was thinking the other day about a big project I worked on several years ago when I was a senior associate. We took over as trial counsel for another firm because of issues with the document production. Those issues meant we had to re-review the entire universe of collected documents -- about 3.5 million pages -- to determine relevance and redact or withhold as necessary for privilege. Privilege redactions had to be logged. And the judge gave us ten calendar days to get it done. We hired a team of about 40 staff attorneys, trained them, and had them work in two eight hour shifts. We met the deadline and, to my knowledge, the new production had very, very few errors. It cost the client about $1 million, but we got it done.

The Epstein files in DOJ's possession are reportedly about 5.2 million pages. The Epstein bill became law on November 19 and required the production of all records by December 19. Responsiveness is not an issue -- all pages in the files are presumptively responsive. We're now on Day 62, 32 days past the statutory deadline, and only a small fraction of the documents have been produced.

DOJ should be ashamed of itself. Congress should be outraged. I literally can't imagine what our judge would have done if we failed to meet her 10-day deadline. But instead, they're all lining up once again to assist in the coverup of the only pedophile (that we know of) to occupy the Oval Office.
