You left out all the efforts Hillary took to cover her tracks, like bleach bit and deleting 30,000 emails and taking hammers to cellphones etc. Was that legal? Has the Trump Administration taken any measures that extreme to try and cover their tracks? What about this golden moment, "Mr. Biden shared information, including some classified information, from these notebooks with his ghostwriter,"...did his head roll? Open borders allowing an estimated 10 to 20 million illegals into the country unvetted with the sole purpose of trying to sway elections...were people fired, or did heads roll? Remember the outrage you expressed over all of those transgressions? Neither does anyone else.

One of the reasons why people voted for Trump is because they were tired of all of this bullshit and tired of the people who defend it out of some stupid ass loyalty to a party while at the same time, jeopardizing themselves and the future of this country. And if you didn't have anything to say about all the crap the Democrats have done but are now acting like this is the end of the world, then I am talking to you.

I hope they do find out what exactly happened and address it appropriately. If not, then the Trump Administration, in this small aspect, will be no different than the Democrats who choose to willingly ignore the monumental failures of their own party. Far more damaging failures than this particular text chain.

The standard false equivalency response is total bullshit. Trump has repeatedly shown that he has little interest in the importance of operational security and, with the exception of the Sandy Berger incident, there is no parallel to how Democrats regard it. Nature abhors a vacuum - at some point, this is going to cost us lives and treasure.

These reactions make me think that the only respite is to wait for the oncoming conflagration, whatever form it might take, and watch the GOP flail at managing the consequences. But it took us a decade and a half to clean up the Iraq mess, and five years to clean up the 2008 financial crisis, and the GOP apparently suffered no consequences for their recklessness and carelessness. I worry that the scope of the crisis is going to be horrifying in order for people to understand that this party is incapable of managing our government.

And we need some real institutional leadership if a credible alternative is going to emerge from the chaos. At this point, our institutional political leaders, academics, business leaders and law firms are acting like cowards.

People are so worried about a leak jeopardizing American soldiers, as they should be, but where is the outrage about the leaks of ICE raids which jeopardize the lives of ICE officers? Where is the outrage when Democrat mayors release known dangerous illegal alien criminals with ICE detainers back into the community jeopardizing the lives of everyday citizens walking the streets of their city instead of turning them over to ICE to get their asses shipped out of this country? Where is any of that outrage?

You don't have an answer to those direct questions about situations which have directly led to actual deaths. 100% It's yet another in a long line of "if Biden/Obama/Hillury hurr dee hurr had done it" topic. Fox and RWM would whip the base up into a frenzy and congressional Pubs would have prosecuted the department heads (that presumably Biden would have fired for a screw up of this magnitude) and then they'd impeach Biden for ever even appointing them.

Once upon a time, we welcomed people from enemy states. They were called "defectors." Now, apparently, the rule is that everyone from an enemy country is an enemy, with the exception of the leaders of those countries who butter up Trump and become his "dear friends."

There has been no "fallout" and there never will be, because a) everyone was vetted and b) they are migrants, not foreign agents. Again, the easiest way for terrorists to come into the country is not crossing the Southern border. How did the 9/11 bombers get in? Visas. If there were to be fallout, we would have seen it already -- it's not as if the asylum surge was new (lots of border crossing in 2016-2019).

Bottom line: there are very few foreigners who want to come into the US to be terrorists. The risk/reward just isn't remotely worth it. It requires money, which isn't necessarily available without bin Laden, and the terrorism groups have decided that bin Laden's strategy of going after the "far enemy" was ultimately stupid. While it did wreck the US, it did nothing good for the Islamist cause. ISIL was more effective by far, and thus the terrorist groups remain focused on the near enemy.

But y'all are the people who are also terrified of illegal voting, even though it doesn't occur for the same reasons. It's not remotely worth it.
