Figured I’d start the game thread, not that it is an enthralling game by any means. Tar Heels taking on an FCS team that is probably a little better than Charlotte. Will be interesting to see how we play after the first two games of looking awful (TCU) and underwhelming (Charlotte), respectively.
Heels have not suffered a loss to an FCS team since Furman in 1999 (though there have been a few close calls: William & Mary in 2004, Furman in 2006, William & Mary again in 2010). I don’t see it happening Saturday, though I don’t think we will cover the 21.5 point spread.

I really hope we score more than 24 but I see Bill keeping it conservative (again) and shutting down the offense once we take a two score lead.

Defense continues to improve as Steve B continues to rotate in younger players.

Blaske returned to practice yesterday (might play next week).

Beat me to it this time. Been busy - had a late gig last night...
But I think you're correct. Heels win, although probably not by 22 pts.

Maybe he's trying to get the defense more change to develop?

I will be very excited if Richmond gets less than 10-or we blow up with like 40
