Ah, a method to the madness reveals itself. Why talk about supporting Ukraine when we can be outraged about St. Donald of Mar-a-Lago's childish desire for a place where he can build snowmen all year round. Much as I despise Vlad "the Ras" Putin, he really gets a chef's kiss for this particular maneuver. The USSR and Russia have been trying to undo NATO since 1949. And now with an idiotic stunt that the Kremlin couldn't have imaged had better than a one in a hundred chance of succeeding, Russia is weeks--perhaps days--away from destroying NATO.
 
Crazy how threads tend to merge, in this case the Greenland, Ukraine and Board of Peace threads have lots of overlapping moments now.

Does anyone find it odd, that the troops Trump is mobilizing to go to Minnesota are from Alaska? There is some reporting that those troops are the only Arctic specialists we have. I didn't think the winter in Minnesota was at that level. Perhaps, there's another target?

He's scared. Now that Europe is showing some backbone and sending troops to Greenland (and apparently Canada may be participating too) he's getting worried that this might not be as easy as he thought. Add in that the EU is considering trade sanctions against the US to retaliate for Trump's tariff "punishments" for them not giving us Greenland, and Dear Leader is probably having himself a real temper tantrum/hissy fit today to his aides and minions.
