If you haven't seen it yet, I highly encourage folks to look up the video of the kid in Springfield, MO who was stealing Harris signs. Stole so many, someone put an air tag on a sign and tracked it down. They had over 60 signs in the back of their car.

She’s more upset that her son is getting confronted for his behaviors than the act of stealing. “Gosh, here’s those liberals trying to address bad behaviors again. I’m so sick of this.”

These claims about Heritage Foundation tactics requires further scrutiny/confirmation, but if accurate are outrageous and a roadmap of how right wing organizations are well beyond criticizing actual policy disputes to fabricating “facts” and directing their manufactured evidence up through social media and traditional media and court filings as dishonest propaganda — actual, intentional Fake News in the model of Russian troll farms, maybe only slightly more subtle.

This next allegation should be much more easily proven and is where the real outrage arises — Heritage Foundation is t just another of millions of individual ratfuckers posting false stories for social media engagement to monetize their alternative fact manufacturing, they have extraordinary influence of the GOP and how it governs, down to writing the laws they propose and not just selecting but grooming judges they nominate.

Again, this guy is seeking media engagement to promote his claims, which could be as warped as he is claiming Heritage to be. But the power of Heritage in the GOP is accurate, which makes it far more concerning than your ordinary dishonest social media partisan or blogger if they’ve gone beyond gross spin and misrepresentation of policies they oppose to forging “evidence” and manufacturing alternative facts to promote their agenda.
 
Considering that, iirc, the Heritage Foundation was started and supported for a while primarily with Coors money, I'm not the least bit surprised. I'd actually be more surprised if they weren't this bad. They've been part of almost everything shitty that the Republicans have done since 1973 and have a long history of racism and lies.

Aw man, just saw that Zachary Levi is a modern conservative/Trumper (and apparently an anti-vaxxer too). That's disappointing tbh. LOVED Chuck. And Shazam was fun too. Oh well.
 
And holy shitballs, can we all stop saying "Democrat Party" and doing the MAGAts' work of spreading this absurd term only meant as a pejorative anyway?

On conservative media - of course - they say it like they all have the same verbal tic, but just this morning, I've seen two librul media guest panelists refer to it as that and they are NOT helping. As I tell my relatives who also parrot it, we don't say the "Republic Party" or the "Republic candidate."

Democrat - singular term for someone who associates with the Democratic Party
Party - a group; a celebration; (v) to celebrate

"Democrat Party" - same usage as "irregardless" - not a term.

Democratic Party - the party of the Democrats
democratic candidate - a candidate, regardless of party, who is running for office under the framework of a democracy
Democratic candidate - a candidate from the Democratic Party running for office

I have seen one, I'm assuming it's the same one.

In the one I saw, you can tell she hadn't actually thought through the topic in any depth and basically got led into saying it. She knew she wasn't supposed to agree but that not agreeing cut against her argument for "state's rights" on any number of other topics. In short, she's an idiot and not a serious person.

I'd guess for the money. As far as attention seeking, I think that would apply to the Hulk Hogans of the world as well.

I think a lot of folks do stuff for attention. And I think celebrities of all stripes think their opinions matter more than they likely should because they are famous.

It's not surprising that some amount of celebrities would end up going for Trump. He wants to cut their taxes, which they are likely acutely aware costs them quite a bit of money, plus he tells successful people that they've earned what they've gotten and that all the credit is theirs. That is very likely to resonate with a number of celebrities, especially those in fields where they are likely to see themselves as "self-made" and not part of a large system that helped them succeed. And, based on real world examples, it also seems that Trump appeals to those celebrities who are on the downside of their careers and are perhaps no longer as relevant as they once were.

In that sense, it's not surprising that Le'Veon Bell might be a Trump supporter.

Absolutely. I didn’t articulate myself very well.

I feel like when someone like Bell steps out and makes a public stance supporting Trump it’s more shocking and makes more waves and therefore garners more attention.

There’s nothing surprising to me about Hogan supporting Trump.
