So much destruction to work through over the coming months it’s insane, but my husband raised an interesting question about whether elections will be able to be properly run?
There is also the issue of how what will be a long and complicated response will impact people’s voting choices.
Again, don’t want to be insensitive to the monumental rebuilding task faced in the mountains. I know from having pipes burst during a hard freeze up there a couple of years ago how hard it was then to find contractors to handle clean-up because so many were impacted. We did as much of our own mitigation as we could and took about 4 weeks to finally get a mitigation specialist out.
This is orders of magnitude worse.
