I say that because "ever" is a damn long time. Certainly, there is no healing for America in the near term or foreseeable future.

Just pure evil, and it seems as if the truth being posted by people just never seems to catch up to the lies.

The mendacity, depravity, and pervasiveness of the disinformation surrounding the Biden/Harris administration's response to Hurricane Helene has greatly exceeded my expectations... and like you, I expected it would be very bad.

In very large part, the people who believe this stuff were never going to vote for Kamala.

This is just as likely to turn off the undecideds/low propensity voters on Trump.

The recovery might entail violence, bloodshed, and death; but, we’ll recover.
 
It shouldn’t be possible at this point but I am astonished by the outright lies being spread by Trump about the response to Helene. There will always be missteps in this kind of massive response but he is t waiting to pounce and exaggerate inevitable foibles.

He is lying about the most basic information. It is indecent and beyond the pale even for him.

Germany's rehabilitation is precisely the reason I say I'm unsure America can recover rather than taking the perspective that it's hopeless. Our nation may have to ultimately be razed to the ground (like Portland obviously) but there's promise that it can be rebuilt.
