Fake news.
Any contract Mondo signs will be a two way contract, so he would spend most of his time in the G League.Mondo isn't going to be playing in the NBA. He has nowhere near the skills.
bacot was a lazy bum
Quite a grand proclamation against a guy who can board with anyone anywhere, and has boosted his 3-point range (36%) and FTs (79%). I watched a few of his G league games and he has definitely come along.Mondo isn't going to be playing in the NBA. He has nowhere near the skills.
He has the second most double doubles in NCAA history, the most rebounds in NCAA history after 1964, and on and on.bacot was a lazy bum
you are an unmitigated moron.bacot was a lazy bum
Problem: he's 25. His development curve is basically done, according to everything I've read about player development. He doesn't have a position. He can't play 5, and he's not quick enough for 4, and he's not good enough on offense to make up for that. He would be a stationary shooter best case scenario, and that's not what teams want out of big men.Quite a grand proclamation against a guy who can board with anyone anywhere, and has boosted his 3-point range (36%) and FTs (79%). Slow feet of course so he’ll never be a great defender, but it would not be far fetched for him to get a chance.
Yeah that’s all fine but a guy who averaged 18 and 10 in the G league with his percentages can’t reasonably be dismissed as having “nowhere near the skills” to play in the NBA.Problem: he's 25. It's really hard to stick in the league these days with rebounding as the signature skill. Guys like Drummond have been bench players for years, and Drummond was a good shotblocker and even more elite on the boards than Bacot.
