By the way, here is the law on whether the officer can be charged by Minnesota:

*the state cannot prosecute if the officer was acting within his duty as an ICE officer, and if in doing that , he did not more than what was necessary and proper for him to do.

I'm guessing that the analysis would proceed as follows (I don't know much about this issue of law):

1. Was he acting within his duty as an ICE officer? Yes. He was out there doing his job. The fact that he was doing his job corruptly comes up in the next prong:

2. Did he do more more than what was necessary and proper for him to do? In this context, he will say that he was acting in self-defense. Thus, the state will have to show that he didn't believe he was actually in danger, or that if he was, it was an objectively unreasonable belief.

The question will likely be decided in the first instance by a federal district court judge. I'd imagine that the video clearly shows that it was not objectively reasonable.

But then it goes to the 8th. Bad place to be for MN.

I'm sorry, but that crowd should have rushed that ICE agent and taken him apart piece by piece. It would have been a justifiable slaughter of a sub-human that doesn't deserve to share the same earth with the rest of humanity.

Whomever the next president is needs to go after this guy with every legal (or otherwise) means that they have.

Over and over again, even in Wake county, I have seen videos of scenes where lethal force was used by the police "because they had reason to believe their life was in danger' Many were weak-but I get it
The only resaon anyone was in danger was because they were hanging on to a slowly moving car. I suppose they wil say that the driver said
"I am gonna run over you"?

Or maybe obey law enforcement when they ask you to get out of the car. They have an impossible job. They have families at home as well. It’s a sad situation all the way around.
