If I'm reading this right the NC gerrymandering gave the US house to the GOP

Absolutely. Only 3 seats to flip for the difference, and when the gerrymandered NC legislature gerrymandered the US House seats back, it went from a split to a wipeout again.

Wasn’t 2022 7 Democrats and 7 Republicans?

That map shows 8 T’s and 6 D’s.

Yeah I couldn't find an actual. 13 was Wiley Nickel, not Republican

Maybe it's showing how those seats would have gone if the same districts happened this time

So as I understand events of recent, there's nothing legally to be done, given the majority on the state supreme court? I guess that leaves "illegal" actions.

I mean the republicans could wake up and be fair. LMAO

or the USA government could pass a no-gerrymandering bill. That would be good.

The NC state legislature has done so much harm to our state and UNC in particular so why not go ahead and harm the U.S. House of Representatives ?

Because in the words of Kurt Vonnegut from the book "Night Mother," "We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be." If you doubt the truth of that quote, just look at what the Republican Party has become during your lifetime.

Looking again at that map, I think it was a pre-election map from 2022 showing how the districts were weighted. Thirteen was slight lean to the GOP….barely a slight lean.
