Trump has previously whined about this. Maybe he should have his inauguration in Texas?

I confess, I did not know how long flags are usually kept at half mast in mourning after the death of a president, so thought maybe Trump had a point, but no — per the article “… United States policy that requires the American flag be flown at half-staff in the 30 days following the death of a current or former President…”

I think we can all predict what St. Donald of Mar-a-Lago would think if he heard about this cap. Hint: It would not be, "That's a good idea to let people know from very start that this administration is not for sale."

Upside down at half-staff ... hmm ... food for thought. MAGA wouldn't know what to think. Their tiny minds would implode.

A couple of years ago, one of my daughters gag-gifted me a package of those stupid "Biden did this" stickers for gas pumps. I'm thinking about sticking them on my vehicle with all of them pointing at one another. Imagine the glorious slow-churning that would take place even in the least doltish Trumpster. Upon further reflection, I'd better not. We don't want the highways and byways to become parking lots of wrecked, distractedly-driven MAGAmobiles.
 
Just another sad, classic example of Donald Trump putting himself before country. And the utter hypocrisy continues to hemorrhage all over the right wing. Just imagine for one moment a scenario in which Trump had passed away and a Democrat POTUS-elect was refusing to fly the flags at half mast for the requisite 30 days. Really imagine that. MAGA media would never let us hear the end of it. They'd be howling into the stratosphere about how un-American and disrespectful the left is. But one of their own does it, and it's fully supported by every card-carrying Trump supporter. It's absolute bullshit. And there's no end in sight to it all. Our nation is broken, and likely beyond repair. What an incredible tragedy.

ETA: So, I've decided to up the ante on this statement and give any of our MAGA posters here—ANY of them, even Callateroy—an opportunity to show even a tiny semblance integrity and make it publically known that they do actually have a problem with Trump breaking tradition for his own personal agenda—OR that they would not have any problem with it if/when the roles were reversed. And... GO.

They don't have a problem with ANYTHING their MAGA God-Emporer does or says. Blind loyalty above all else.
