Right on cue. After Trump's 48 hour ultimatum and Iran's ultimatum right back about the desalination plants that supply most of the water to the Gulf states.........the Gulf states like Qatar got moving. The only question is how high the price of surrender will be..........that Iran will demand.
 


As someone who lives pretty close to a nuclear power plant, I’m selfishly unhappy about this particular escalation from Trump.

In a rational system he would have never been elected. If we don't right the ship, there may be no need for an election come November 2028. Much depends on congressional elections this year. If we fail to rid ourselves of this capitulating Republican dominated Congress The Great American Experiment is finito.

So, basically, our reasons for getting into this war turned out to be bullshit, it's turning out to be a lot messier and more complicated than we thought, Iran can do more damage to us than we thought, so we're just going "redefine" our goals in the middle of the war and try to desperately get out of it as soon as possible, because it's backfiring on us and actually making Iran and their horrible government stronger, not weaker. And of course all of this should have been obvious to any decently competent administration before we started bombing, but as this administration is totally incompetent and incapable of thinking ahead or planning for all possible consequences and is run by cosplaying morons here we are. Way to go MAGA!

You know, its going to be so confusing for Americans to follow Trump's crap on this war. Maybe we should dumb it down like Reagan did "are you better off then before Trump's war?"
 
I should add that, imo, something like the Iran War was inevitable under this administration. We're literally being governed by reality-show stars (Trump), Fox News talking heads with no administrative experience (Hegseth, Pirro), right-wing podcasters (Patel), conspiracy quacks and loons (RFK, Jr.), sniveling sycophants without a spine (Rubio, Bessent), and a whole rogue's gallery of crooks, con artists, and general morons. And this war is what happens when you hand people like this the keys to the government and give them total control. Something like this was simply going to happen at some point, and it likely will not be the last such incident, nor even the worst. But, hey, at least they're not a bunch of snooty, college educated, know-it-all liberal elitist experts looking down their noses at all of us god-fearing, red-blooded, Real MAGA Americans!

Not sure if these idiots make a war like this inevetible. Unfortunately, we've been having dumb wars with much more capable administrations. Its not just these dummies.
