link? Not saying he wasn't shot but I watched it several times. There was no blood at all that I could see and the child lay there for a while. If he had been shot with any kind of gun I'm familiar with there would have been lots of blood.
You can clearly see blood on the child’s lower back after about 60 seconds.

Hamas Agrees to Release More Hostages as Israel Looks to Begin Peace Talks

Militant group will release three living hostages ahead of schedule and the dead bodies of four more

"...Hamas leader Khalil Al-Hayya said Tuesday that the U.S.-designated terrorist group agreed to release six living hostages, three more than originally stipulated by the deal after successful negotiations between the two sides.

It is also handing over the bodies of dead hostages for the first time on Thursday. In exchange for the four bodies, Israel will release all Palestinian women and minors under the age of 19 who were detained in Gaza after Oct. 8, 2023, and who weren’t involved in the fighting, Arab mediators said.

Al-Hayya said that the living hostages will include two men who have been held by Hamas for around a decade and that the bodies include members of the Bibas family who were taken hostage in the Hamas-led Oct. 7, 2023, attack on Israel. Hamas said they were killed in an Israeli airstrike during the start of the war.

The Israeli prime minister’s office confirmed the exchange of living and dead hostages after negotiations in Cairo. ..."

The only long term solution is a state for the Palestinians. The problem is they passed on that chance. Opinion | The Missed Chance for Peace (Published 2023)

Egypt and Jordan are not accepting large blocks of Palestinians from Gaza and J&S. Their primary concern is their own regimes' stability. Egypt is a state within a state. The Army rules there. If Sisi and the army end up butting heads over policy on Gaza, he will end up in the ground. Jordan is a failed state. Its population is estimated to be majority Palestinian, or at least a sizable minority. An influx of 3 million is not possible. It survives only on American aid.

The only LT solution is a viable Palestinian state. My Hope for Palestine

Finish the job.

Israel says it has identified two of the dead bodies returned by Hamas on Thursday as Ariel and Kfir Bibas – but tests show another body that was expected to be that of their mother Shiri is not hers – and does not match any other Israeli hostage.

Whatever (slim) chances of a two state solution still existed absolutely evaporated after that spectacle yesterday. Will never happen.

Agreed and it would in insane to accept a two state solution. I think leveling the place is more likely and honestly after that display, it might be warranted. Enough with the BS that people in Gaza don’t support Hamas.

Autopsies on the 4-year-old and the 9-month-old show Hamas beat them to death. Imagine…
I confess I cannot imagine. Everyone lies in this conflict so I find myself hoping they really just died suddenly in a strike rather than this be true. Monstrous.

The IDF has lied about kid deaths before. Not sure why anyone would believe them now. And certainly Israel could allow independent pathologists to confirm it. If two young kids were beaten to death, I would expect Israel to do that to justify their genocide.

And logically, why would Hamas return the bodies of two kids that they had beaten to death? They could say they weren't found or were incinerated in an airstrike or whatever. It's possible that they were beaten to death but I just think it's more likely that it was an airstrike or some other Israeli attack. Plenty of Palestinian kids died. It's not that hard to believe that Israel accidentally got a couple of their own.

exactly. An extension of hamas. Not saying Israel is blameless in the hatred palestinians have for israel but when you teach / brainwash / indoctrinate children to hate and celebrate the death of other children its time to think outside the box in how this is dealt with over the next decades.

Israel is not at all pearly white but the Palestinian culture was shown the last few days. Celebrations as they parade bodies of dead kids. Some of the Palestinians celebrating were children. Unbelievable how evil….
