What happened to JWash being a knock down jump shot big?
Recall Hubert going on and on about his jumper, “perfect form” for a big man, etc, etc., JWash as a stretch 4 or 5 has yet to materialize, or am I missing something? Why can’t he be used that way, set him up at the free throw line or top of key, or foul line extended? Pick and pop instead of pick and roll. Bring their big man out from the paint and allow our guards room to get to the rim without the other teams big man clogging the middle and blocking Cadeau and RJs drive to the rim. Trimble too.
Are we trying to use Washington as a traditional big on offense… and thereby not using his supposed best strength - that as a jump shooter - who draws out the other big?
I can see more 3’s and outside jump shots from Washington with Trimble and Lubin or JWit crashing the offensive glass.
Honestly, I thought that was what JWash was supposed to be… a stretch 4 or 5…he’s certainly not a trad big.
