It does. Get guns out of the hands of criminals and wannabe gangsters and I'd probably never have to go to a shooting again. I'm also very aware of how long it actually takes help to get to you once you call 911. You better be prepared to be on your own for a half hour or longer in the event of a home invasion.

Multiple people have been shot in Stockton, CA, including children.
