Mushroom makes people have same hallucinations

"Unlike other known psychedelics, the compound in L. asiatica is not psilocybin and can produce unusually long-lasting effects that sometimes last for days or require hospitalization. The hallucinations experienced by those who take L. asiatica are also said to be strikingly consistent, which is said to be a rarity in psychedelic experiences."

LMAO at "lilliputian hallucinations."

Sounds like DMT elves/gnomes. Pretty interesting thread linked below. It’s a pretty fascinating rabbit hole:

We tend to think of Ayahuasca as emerging in the popular consiousness only recently, but I remeber being infatuated by Michael Harner's book The Way of the Shaman way back in the early eighties (45 years ago for those keeping score). Anyway, Harner recounts his first experince of doing Ayahuasca where he describes his trip to a local shaman and tells him about the lizard people he saw who told him they were from beyond the stars (or something like that, it's been a solid 45 years since I've read that book) and the local shaman goes "Oh, yeah, don't listen to those liars, they're always saying that". :ROFLMAO:

Oh, and fuck Arron Rogers.

I got a lot more vivid imagery from opium dreams than hallucinations from psychedelics for the most part especially in terms of duration. There was only a very few times I got lost in some hallucinatory experience. That's after some time and effort in empirical research.

In the broadest terms of taxonomy, I've read that the fungus kingdom is more akin to the animal kingdom than the plant kingdom. I think life on this planet has been a long negotiation/war b/w bacteria and viruses...

I just remember in the mid 70’s this old codger was rummaging through all his stuff he was selling… ‘shrooms, Thai sticks, Maui Wowee, Moroccan hashish, black opium “tar” balls, Indica, Sinsemilla, pretty much the gamut.

I was nosing through his collection of items for sale and asked him “what’s this?”

He just said: “‘em’s Peyote…”

I don’t remember much after that.

Then there was the time when a buddy of ours was studying chemistry at UT in Knoxville. Had to be around 1978 or 79. He came home at Christmas with a bunch of MDA that he had concocted. He mixed it with a bunch of Nestlé’s Quik powder.
Me and a couple buddies ate too much of that shit one night…
I’m still trippin’
