Sure, in the same way it counted when you wrote “I want Mickey Mouse to be president” on a gum wrapper and flushed it down the toilet. If anyone disregarded the instructions given to them by Georgia officials before they voted, then guess what? They. Didn’t. Vote. And that’s not because of the Dems. It’s because of a decision the Georgia courts made before the election.

Now, if you’ll like to stop dissembling and get back to the evidence (or lack thereof) supporting your statement that Dems would do the same thing the NC GOP is doing in the Supreme Court race, I’m happy to keep discussing. But you’re so far out in left field now we can’t even see you, and I’m done helping you pollute this thread.
Yeah. I guess we're at an impasse. You don't think Democrats would ever do that in North Carolina and I do. And I think they should if the situation ever arises.

Would you really want the Democrats to not use every legal avenue to ensure that the election is fair and legal? I would.

Just like Cornel West and Claudia De La Cruz who were invalidated in Georgia. They did not get enough signatures to be eligible on the ballot. Voters were instructed they were ineligible. Chase Oliver and Jill Stein were eligible. This is apples and oranges from what is happening in NC.

“A lawyer for Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger told justices during arguments Tuesday that it was too late to change ballots, but if the court ruled against the candidates, Raffensperger’s office would place notices at polling places and within absentee ballot envelopes that votes for either candidate will not be counted. With this decision, Georgians will choose between Republican Donald Trump, Democrat Kamala Harris, Libertarian Chase Oliver and Green Party candidate Jill Stein on Nov. 5.”

Well it's different in the sense that it's not exactly the issue at hand in The North Carolina election. I completely agree. The claim I was refuting was that Democrats would not use the courts to invalidate votes. I think they would and I think they should in some cases.

When have the Democrats in the past attempted to invalidate votes post Election Day that shows they would do the same in the future? Or are you saying that because the Republicans have done it that it stands to reason that the Democrats would do it too?

Dan McCready versus Dan Bishop. In that case, the Democrats were right to challenge those mail-in ballots, and I hope they would in the future.

Yes. That is the case "Democrats in the past attempted to invalidate votes post Election Day that shows they would do the same in the future." Fortunately, they succeeded.
Because there were literally crimes that were committed and it was the BOE who flagged them. This isn’t the same as a candidate asking for 60K votes to be invalidated and is circumventing the process to do it. I give you an A for effort because you try so hard grasping at straws to make a point that Democrats do it too (bosiding). But it’s not the same and another bad example.

“In 2018, Mark Harris, a Republican, won the race to represent North Carolina’s ninth congressional district. But shortly after the election, the North Carolina state board of elections voted to overturn a congressional election and call a new one after an investigation revealed that a Harris operative was illegally collecting absentee ballots from voters. Harris decided not to run again and Bishop ultimately won the seat.

The operative, Leslie McCrae Dowless, allegedly instructed those working for him to falsely sign as witnesses for voters though they had not witnessed the voter filling out the ballot and making it seem like the voter mailed back the ballot themselves when they had not. People working for Dowless said they collected hundreds of mail-in ballots and in some cases were directed to fill in votes for local candidates. In North Carolina, a voter must get two witnesses or a notary to sign an absentee ballot envelope and it is illegal for anyone other than the voter, a close relative, or a legal guardian to return the ballot.

Dowless was charged with several felonies for the conduct in the 2016 and 2018 elections. He died in 2022, before the case went to trial. Several others involved in the scheme pleaded guilty to misdemeanors.“

I completely agree that its not exactly like the current court case. But that's not what you asked for. You specifically asked for a case where Democrats invalidated votes after the election. Before that, somebody else asked for a case where Democrats invalidated votes.

If it helps, I can't find a case where North Carolina Democrats did exactly the same thing the Republicans are doing in this current court case when the Republicans held the governorship and the local boards of elections. If that is what people are hoping for, there you go.

Exactly. Great analogy. He doesn’t see his total whataboutism and bo-siding. He’s a tedious little tit and I’m not at all sure why 99% of the board hasn’t already super-ignored him. I’m thinking about 75% already has.

Don’t limit it to NC Democrats. You didn’t with your Georgia example. Find an example where a Democrat candidate in any state tried to have votes invalidated after the election regardless of state.

At this point I don't even think you're listening. I've already given you an example of a Democrat candidate in any state that tried to have votes invalidated after the election. Bishop versus McCready.

I think I'm good with all these examples. If you need more, I think you'll need to find them yourself.

The BOE invalidated them because of election fraud with multiple people charged. Apples to oranges but probably the best you will find.

So Garland took too long to make decisions, huh? Can't see where that would ever become a problem as AG.
No, he made the decisions on time. It was the opinion writing. Everyone knew whether he was writing the majority, a concurrence or a dissent. He was just too gd thorough.

We've witnessed a mostly dead poster die on the stupidest hill imaginable. RIP jacket. I doubt anyone will pay attention to you after this performance. I won't.

Yes. You're absolutely correct. That is an example of Democrats trying to have the votes invalidated after the election in any state.

I'm not really sure what you're trying to argue here. Are you claiming the North Carolina Democrats would never use legal channels to try to invalidate votes after an election? Because I think there are some instances where they would and they should. And so should Republicans.

Actually there was a new election rather having certain votes being thrown out. And that was after a hearing in which the candidate being investigated said he didn’t want to continue proceeding with the hearing and that there should be a new election.
