It seems like those god-fearing Southerners were right. Most of my snow is melted.I finally got mail late yesterday evening.
In defense of the USPS, they will not deliver if access is hindered by unplowed streets, failure to clear access to the mailbox for street delivery and sidewalks and steps covered in ice and snow for door delivery. That was the rule when I lived in Cleveland as well. But there when the snow stops, people get out of their house and clear the snow from paved surfaces around their house.
God knows not many people in my neighborhood touched a goddam shovel over the past few days. I think it must be because the south is so religious. It seems people here believe the Lord put that snow there so he can take it away.
I wouldn't know, 99% of my mail is junk, so I only check bi-weekly or if I'm expecting something.bullshit. haven't seen the mail in 5 days.
i think we're finally getting some here on the out of it banks today.bullshit. haven't seen the mail in 5 days.
Starting with January 23, we have gotten mail twice.bullshit. haven't seen the mail in 5 days.
