Nicole Kidman is available

I still think one of her best (and sexiest) performances was one of her earlier films - To Die For, a superb 1990s (very) dark comedy loosely based on the real-life case of Pamela Smart, a NH schoolteacher who seduced one of her teen students and convinced him to murder her husband. Kidman (who was a TV "weather girl" in the movie) was fantastic as the batshit crazy and very sexy star of the movie, and a very young Joaquin Phoenix was her teen lover. Haven't seen the movie in years, but that was my first real introduction to her acting skills and pure sex appeal.

Yeah, I really liked that. I think the first thing I saw her in was Dead Calm (with Sam Neil), which came out in 1989. At 21, she was way to young for the role (wife of Australian Navy captain and the. 41-year-old Sam Neill and mother of his kid), BUT most of the film was them alone on a sailboat, or mostly alone once shipwrecked Billy Zane showed up.

Anyway, a very solid little horror/survival thriller, and Kidman was very good in it.

tragic how people cant accept and age gracefully
For a Hollywood A list female actor the math is a little different. Some decide to go towards plastic surgery to extend their ability to play "hot girl" roles (hello Babygirl for Nicole) while others decide to age naturally and take the career hit. Vanity is involved for sure, but so is tens of millions of dollars in potential acting salary. But for the plastic 65 yr old at a suburban Whole Foods in a lululemon set and filled to the gills with botox that's probably just vanity.

Yeah, it’s a good thriller, and I remember thinking she was very cute at the time. She had super curly hair which we have never seen since.

She kept her hair curly through the 90s. Days of Thunder, Far and Away, Eyes Wide Shut in 99. Then from Moulin Rouge on I think she mostly kept her hair straight. She had some good roles in the 90s. Probably her best decade.
