Notre Dame reopens.

There are some real lessons on how France reacted to this happening. I really can't think on anything in the US that would be equivalent to Notre Dame burning down. But they didn't get mad. They didn't point their fingers. They didn't convene endless governmental hearings trying to score points for the next election. They just took a deep breathe, rolled up their collective sleeves, reminded themselves that they had survived worse, and got to work.

Even with Pearl Harbor, there have been, to this day, an endless stream of conspiracy theories about how FDR and Churchill "knew" in advance and let it happen.
