Political Signs

It's probably an advantage. That type of thing makes the signs stand out And cut through the noise. Might just upset someone enough to get off their tush and get to the polls.
 
At the end of the road I live on there was for several weeks, directly across the road from the stop sign (you have to turn right or left onto another road) a bunch of signs for Democratic candidates, including the "Harris/Walz" signs. On Friday morning I noticed that the Democratic signs were all gone and had been replaced by a few Trump signs, including a "Trump Secure Border/Kamala Open Border" sign. I've got to admit that my first thought was that some Trumper had pulled up all of the Democratic signs and replaced them with Trump signs, and that might well be what happened.
 
My daughter and I ran over a few leaving the polling place yesterday.

I've been actively looking for trump signs close enough to the road to hit. Especially the ones with flat out lies on them like trump = lower taxes.
 
On the plus side, I did see these two signs in Harrisburg nc yesterday. I drive the road every workday, and hadn’t seen the till Saturday. I will be looking to see if they made it through the weekend. IMG_1470.jpeg

At my early voting station today there were obviously zillions of signs for umpteen candidates, all the same shape and size. Someone snuck in a sign "crawlspace ninjas".... advertising their business, right in the middle of the mix. LOL

we have a lot of those trump / kamala signs here.....my favorite one is the "trump safety, kamala crime" sign.....yes, the 34 time felon, adjudicated rapist, insurrectionist is definitely the "safety" pick here over the former prosecutor and attorney general, lmao.
 
I’ve seen a couple places within the last week where someone put up a bunch of signs for all the libertarian candidates.
 
My sign polling here in Orange did encounter 3 new trump signs in homes this morning...

And 7 new Harris signs! (I dont count the corner, clearly not put there by a homeowner signs)
 
It's odd to me that in deep red Carolina Beach the signs in front of homes favor Dems by a decent 60/40 split, but the signs by the roads are 90% Pub.

I know for a fact that Dem signs are disappearing from the roadways (ones I myself literally put there in the first place, for example). Someone is going around at night pulling all the Dem signs. Folks have lost signs in front of houses too, but it's most obvious on the public roadways.

lots of dem signs disappearing around my neck of the woods, too.

the rethuglicans are gross criminals.
 
my dad was so upset about harris/walz signs disappearing in his neighborhood that he wanted me to help him buy cameras to put up to monitor the remaining signs......

luckily he got distracted and we have yet to actually enact that plan, lol.

not that i don't want to catch whatever slimy a-holes are stealing signs, but having to help my dad purchase and install cameras to catch them?

aint nobody got time for that GIF
