I am interested in doing a post-election exercise from both liberals and conservatives here to see where the following issues and events from both campaigns now rank in importance from the election, and how they affected the outcome.

Can everyone pick and rank the best 10, in order of importance to the election, 1-10 from this list of 20 issues/events:

Stock MarketAssassination AttemptsThe Harris/Trump DebateNABJ Trump InterviewNo Dem Primary in JulyEveryone's Personal FinancesHarris Celeb EndorsementsTrans Surgeries in PrisonsMSG RallyTrump Dancing for 40 minutes
Elon MuskHarris' Race/GenderHarris Courting RepublicansBorder Bill DeniedTrump's AgeHarris too Focused on AbortionGaza ConflictRally SizesHarris Republican EndorsementsHurricane Response Lies

Top events I believe influenced election results:

1. Trans Surgeries in Prisons
2. Border Bill Denied
3. Hurricane Response Lies
4. Elon Musk
5. Harris' Race/Gender
6. Harris too Focused on Abortion

In other words, lies and misinformation fed to a gullible electorate who get their information from a closed feedback loop which makes countering the lies inconsequential. A couple other significant factors missing from your list are social media in general and the online bro culture specifically.

Since I started the thread I'll do mine as well:

1. Everyone's Personal Finances
2. Harris Courting Republicans
3. No Dem Primary in July (Not Kamala's fault though)
4. Elon Musk
5. Assassination Attempts
6. Border Bill Denied
7. Harris' Race/Gender
8. Gaza Conflict
9. Hurricane Response Lies
10. Harris too Focused on Abortion

I also think the low propensity Joe Rogan voter can be tied in with Elon and his messaging and it was effective.
