We will have an early shakeup in the military hierarchy. Trump will make sure loyalists occupy the top few layers of leadership and that will be a top priority.

That will also signal to anyone who isn't in the cult that Trump is serious about having dictatorial control. MAGAs will believe it is necessary to root out the insidious deep state so they won't be at all bothered by it. They are significantly groomed to believe any rationale for almost any action.

Nah. He doesn’t want everyone to pay their fair share. He wants to get back at Zelensky for not helping him set up Biden and he’s okay with letting Russia slaughter women and children to do it.

Yes and most likely the DOJ will do the dirty work. He just needs to make sure there is no chance the military would step in.

People argue that there is no way soldiers would break their oath to the constitution. That might to not be required but if Trump wants to use the military in that way, he can create his own vetted “elite” group to do so. There are always some. The rest would be powerless because the upper tiers of their command chain would sit by and let whatever happens happen.

Those “elite” forces would consists of soldiers who are simply willing to do Trump’s dirty work or are persuadable to believe in whatever justification is presented to them.
