My hero. The Carter Center does a whole lot more than Guinea Worm eradication. Their annual report came out just last week, or at least that’s when I got my copy in the mail. For those in a position to do some charitable giving and want to be sure your money is being put to good use, you could do a lot worse than setting up an annual donation to the Carter Center (no matter the size).

Every now and then I hear about a Christian who truly lives as Christ did, and as I would imagine him living in today's world. Jimmy Carter is one of those rare individuals. So many of the people he touched were those the rest of the world wouldn't touch. We need more Jimmy Carters in this world.
