Man, I would have probably ended up on that list. Not that I'm particularly radical but compared to other corporate law professors . . . . actually there were a fair amount of us (and the corporations professor at Harvard for like 2 decades in the 70s and 80s was a self-proclaimed Marxist) but obviously corporate/securities law attracts a lot more conservatives than some other fields.

And I know this will come to a surprise to people, but I'm vocal.

I'll give FIRE some credit - they aren't just anti-cancel culture warriors, but have been spending a lot of effort lately pushing back against illiberal speech restrictions from the right wing as well as the left.

I figure these are additional avenues for Charlie Kirk and Turning Point to grift and to gin up outrage.

That post made me fear that Horowitz may have passed away but apparently he still carries on at 86. Here he is at 84 doing his standard schtick. (He looks pretty good for an octogenarian...those red-diaper baby days must have set him on a healthy path)
