Also, there's potential for Republicans to be so mad at this they push to ban gerrymandering. Not a high chance but that would be the best thing ever

That would be great if every state had a non-partisan committee that divided up the congressional districts (as well as state legislative districts) in a way that best reflects how the population votes. North Carolina had it right for an election cycle until our activist state Supreme Court mucked it up.
 
Hey Republicans! Kiss all around our pronoun-loving, transgender sport-playing, land-acknowledging gerrymandering* asses, motherfuckers!

*Gerrymandering is bad, no matter who does it. Pass the damn anti-redistricting legislation so this stops happening.
