4) To the victor goes the spoils and they get to write the history.
5) Humans are still barbarians and they gonna do the barbaric things. Even though I'd like to think the inherent capacity for both good and evil is within all cultures and individuals... I'm still a bit on the pessimistic side. I haven't much faith in humans to do the right thing. Regardless of any "organized" religion, or perhaps in spite of... or perhaps lack thereof...
