“… The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention approved a $1.6 million grant for the study last month, days after the health secretary, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., lifted the agency’s longstanding recommendation to give the vaccine to all infants at birth. Although the World Health Organization also recommends giving the shot at birth, Mr. Kennedy said more research was needed about the effects of a birth dose.

The study, which was to be carried out by Danish researchers, swiftly became the subject of furor in the public health world, with researchers in Africa and the United States saying that it violated key tenets of ethical science. A Trump administration health official said the study had been paused.

International agreements on medical research in humans require researchers to offer the globally accepted standard of care (in this case, vaccination at birth) to any participant in a clinical trial.

But in this study, half of the 14,000 infants studied were not going to be given the vaccine until they were six weeks old. Researchers were not going to screen pregnant women for hepatitis B — a basic step that would protect the babies of infected women, who could be vaccinated at birth.…”

Fascists have long had a distorted Darwinian view on life - that whole so-called master race thing.

The Nazis would burn Helen Keller's books when found because the idea that someone with disabilities could survive, let alone function, was anathema to them.
Excellent point.

Mengele sighs.

“… Dr. Kirk Milhoan, a pediatric cardiologist who is chair of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, said that he did have “concerns” that some children might die of measles or become paralyzed with polio as a result of a choice not to vaccinate.

But, he said, “I also am saddened when people die of alcoholic diseases,” adding, “Freedom of choice and bad health outcomes.”

In the case of an infectious disease, a personal choice to decline a vaccine may also affect others, including infants who are too young to be vaccinated or people who are immunocompromised. But a person’s right to reject a vaccine supersedes those risks, Dr. Milhoan said.

“If there is no choice, then informed consent is an illusion,” he said. “Without consent it is medical battery.” …”

“… The polio and measles vaccines are widely acknowledged as staggering successes in public health, credited with preventing disability and millions of deaths worldwide. … But Dr. Milhoan said that making the vaccines optional, rather than requiring them for entry into public schools nationwide, as is now the case, would ultimately restore trust in public health.…”

Kirk Milhoan appears to be and have been a practicing pastor in a Bible-believing church in Maui the last 20+ years and not-so-much a practicing MD.

I couldn't fathom how a doctor could believe any of this until I saw Zoo's helpful supplement.

Of all the unqualified Cabinet appointments of Trump 2.0 (and there are plenty to pick from) RFK Jr is and always was the one that concerned me the most.
