I'm surprised I've never heard of this guy. His big years were before my childhood but I still thought I knew who most of those 70's Stars were. Seems like a character. Glad he made it in.Dave Parker has passed.

One of the best and most feared players in baseball for much of the 70s and 80s and a key cog om the '79 Pirates world championship team (also won in 1989 with the A's). His on the field accomplishments were overshadowed a bit by the MLB cocaine scandal and trial in the 80s and pro ably contributed to delay his rightful place in Cooperstown.I'm surprised I've never heard of this guy.
