A couple of bits of Sedaka trivia: The song "Oh Carol" was about fellow songwriter, Carol King. And his composition, "Love Will Keep Us Together," became the #1 song of 1975 for Captain & Tennille. If you listen closely to the fadeout, you hear the lyric "Sedaka's Back" (the name of his 1974 comeback album).

Another fave for me was his duet with Elton John, "Bad Blood". I sang it in duets many times in 1975-1976.

So many great singer/songwriters came out of NYC from that time - Neil Sedaka, Carole King, Paul Simon, Art Garfunkel, Neil Diamond, Barbra Streisand, Laura Nyro - just off the top of my head.
