provided the US and European allies can help guarantee security. If western partners can provide security for elections, Zelensky said, "then in the next 60-90 days Ukraine would be ready to hold the elections."

I still can't believe one of Trump's real estate development buddies is representing the United States in face to face negotiations with Vladimir Putin.
Or Bibi Netanyahu. Or the Qataris. Or Saudis. Or anyone.

Although, is Witkoff any worse representing the US than Trump?

“… The U.S. blueprint has been spelled out in appendices to current peace proposals that aren’t public but were described to The Wall Street Journal by U.S. and European officials.

The documents detail plans for U.S. financial firms and other businesses to tap roughly $200 billion of frozen Russian assets for projects in Ukraine—including a massive new data center to be powered by a nuclear plant currently occupied by Russian troops.

Another appendix offers America’s broad-strokes vision for bringing Russia’s economy in from the cold, with U.S. companies investing in strategic sectors from rare-earth extraction to drilling for oil in the Arctic, and helping to restore Russian energy flows to Western Europe and the rest of the world.

Some European officials who have seen the documents said they weren’t sure whether to take some of the U.S. proposals seriously. One official compared them to President Trump’s vision of building a Riviera-style development in Gaza. Another, referring to the proposed U.S.-Russia energy deals, said it was an economic version of the 1945 conference where World War II victors divvied up Europe. “It’s like Yalta,” he said.…”

Yes, for Russia because they insist on attacking. It seems Russia thought it was a good idea to send in the best they have, the entire 76th Air Assault Division in Pokrovsk. Ukraine's drones are wiping them out.

Its worth noting, that on November 3rd, Zelenskiy said Kupyyansk would be cleared. Well, there are reports that it has been and that there are a few remaining Russians left that have been encircled between the town and the river. I didn't believe this report, but they have video of Zelenskiy actually there in the town.

I would like to see Putin get that close to the fighting.
